Bergen Light Rail

The Bergen Light Rail (or «Bybanen» in Norwegian) is a simple operation, with one light rail route with all the departures doing the full route, from Byparken (in the city centre) to the airport and vice versa.

In Route 1 we'll look at the present route 1, starting with the current operation and then having some fun with it.

In Route 2 we'll look at the future route 2, set to open in late 2022, and look at how this makes it possible to set up quite a complicated network.
