The artcles in this section describe the current metro network, except the very last one which presents a proposals for a new network based on 10 minute intervals.

The Oslo Metro Network

The Oslo Metro Network has 5 lines, which all share a common section trough the city centre. The northern connection between the line to Sognsvann (in the west) and the line to Vestli (in the east) is relatively new, and has added extra complexity to the planning and operation of the metro.

In Metro Route 1 we'll start with route 1, as we have to start somewhere.

In Metro Route 4 we'll continue with route 4, as it has a shared section with route 1.

In Metro Route 5 we'll continue with route 5, as it has a shared section with route 4.

In Metro Route 2/3 we'll do the remaining routes 2 and 3.

In All Metro Routes we'll combine all the routes, and consider the overall network.

In My Metro Network I'll have a go at adapting the network for 10 minute frequency, including traffic on the single-track connection from Ensjø to Carl Berners plass.
